Description: Xanthorrhoea glauca (Grass Tree) is a member of the Asphodel Family (Asphodelaceae). The Hortus Kewensis, ed. 2, vol. 2, p. 271 lists two species, both native to Australia. They were introduced to European cultivation in 1803 and 1804.
