Common Names:  Jonquil, Common Jonquil, Rush Daffodil

Description: Narcissus jonquilla (Jonquil) is a member of the Amaryllis Family (Amaryllidaceae). The genus Narcissus has about 50 species. The Hortus Kewensis, ed. 2, vol. 2 recorded this native of Spain was first cultivated in Britain in 1596.
