Description: Erythronium dens canis (Dogtooth Violet) is a member of the Lily Family ( Liliaceae). The Hortus Kewensis, ed. 2, vol. 2 recorded that Erythronium dens canis, native to Siberia, Italy, and Virginia, was introduced into cultivation in 1596.
