Common Names: Crocus
 
Description: Crocus sp. (Crocus) is a member of the Iris Family (Iridaceae). The Hortus Kewensis, ed. 2, vol. 1, p. 80-82 listed nine species of crocuses, of which three were native of England and one listed as native of Southern Europe. The remainder were listed as native to Turkey or not listed.
