Description: Passiflora caerulea (Blue Passion Flower) is a member of the Passion Flower Family (Passifloraceae). The Hortus Kewensis, ed. 2, vol. 4 recorded that this native of Brazil was introduced into cultivation in Britain in 1699. It was the first passion flower species introduced in Britain.
